About Us

SAPAC-TN is a veterinary professional and educational registered association for welfare of the pet/vet fraternity. Arranging seminar, workshops and Conferences exclusively for pet animal Practitioners.

The Main objectives of the Association shall be:

  • SMALL ANIMAL PRACTITIONER'S ASSOCIATION OF TAMIL NADU (SAPAC-TN) is formed to represent the professional interests of registered Small (Companion) Animal Veterinary Practitioners in Tamil Nadu State and Pondicherry Union Territory.
  • SAPAC-TN shall represent and promote the collective views of Small Veterinary Practitioners serving the Animal Welfare and Health needs of Small Animals/Companion animals
  • SAPAC-TN shall establish mutually beneficial relationships with small animal veterinary industries and organizations with similar aims and objectives.
  • SAPAC-TN shall work together with Federation of Small Animal Practitioners Associations’-India (FSAPAI) or any other national and international small animal veterinary association for the improvement of quality of small animal practice in India.
  • SAPAC-TN shall provide education and high-quality professional service to the community in general and pet owners in particular regarding small animal health care and welfare.
  • SAPAC-TN shall organize Continuous education programme, National and international congress on a regular basis to provide a platform for exchange of knowledge and technologies amongst pet practitioners and for upgrading of professional knowledge in small animal practice.
  • SAPAC-TN shall publish the information relevant to smal! animal practice and welfare for the benefit of the pet practitioners, pet owners, other related industries/organizations and public in general.
  • SAPAC-TN shall keep a liaison with Veterinary Council of India regarding all the aspects pertinent to small animal practice &for the welfare of small animal practitioners.
  • SAPAC-TN shall promote one health program through organized Veterinary health camp.
  • SAPAC-TN shall coordinate with Veterinary medical industry for ethical supply of veterinary scheduled drugs, prescription diets and other related items to the veterinary practitioners.
